Delete Your Data

App: DVR Time Traveler
Developer: SDTech Mobile Application Inc.

Privacy-first design: DVR Time Traveler stores all case data (officer identification, case numbers, addresses, DVR identifications, notes, reports, photos, and DVR unlock patterns) exclusively on your device using AES-256 encryption. Your case data is never transmitted to any server.

1. Delete local data (on your device)

All case data is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time:

Option A — Delete all app data at once

  1. Open DVR Time Traveler
  2. Go to MENU → Settings → Data Management
  3. Tap "Clear All App Data"
  4. Select the data categories you want to delete
  5. Confirm the deletion

This permanently deletes:

  • Officer identification and presets
  • All report history
  • All notes pages
  • All DVR passwords/patterns
  • Agency logo
  • Error logs and diagnostics
  • App preferences and settings
  • Generated PDFs and temporary files

Option B — Delete individual items

  • Individual reports: Swipe to delete in Report History
  • Individual notes pages: Remove Page button in Notes
  • Individual DVR patterns: Delete in DVR PW/Patterns
  • Agency logo: Remove Logo in Settings → Agency Logo

Option C — Uninstall the app

Uninstalling DVR Time Traveler completely removes all locally stored data from your device.

2. Delete server-side data

A small amount of technical data is stored on SDTech servers for license management and app stability. This data does not include any case data.

To request deletion of server-side data:

Send an email to administrator@sdtech.app with:

  • Subject: Data Deletion Request — DVR Time Traveler
  • Your Device ID (found in the app at MENU → Settings → System & Admin → Device Info)
  • What data you want deleted (license records, timestamp records, or all server-side data)

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion by email.

3. What is NOT deleted

The following may remain after deletion:

  • Google Play purchase records — managed by Google, not SDTech. Contact Google Play support to manage purchase history.
  • Apple App Store purchase records — managed by Apple, not SDTech.

4. Legal basis

This data deletion process complies with:

  • GDPR Article 17 — Right to Erasure (European Union)
  • Quebec Law 25, s. 28.1 — Right of deletion (Canada)
  • CCPA / CPRA — Right to Delete (California, USA)
  • PIPEDA — Right to challenge compliance (Canada)
